Finnish TV anchor Eva Polttila is misleading viewers about the language law, on January 26, 2003. She told vaguely and hardly anything about the law. This is the only time ever when YLE Broadcasting Company has told about the language law, from 1999 to 2003 and ever since!
Other TV channels have told even less. MTV3 has told practically nothing about the language law, it has just mentioned it few times over the years. As far as I know, Finnish TV channel Nelonen has never mentioned the language law.
Who are responsible for this censorship? Presidents Martti Ahtisaari and Tarja Halonen, and prime minister Paavo Lipponen. And many other leading Finnish politicians since 1999.
This issue is not throughoutly discussed. A judgement of YLE news about the language law on January 26, 2003, in Finnish.

TV and newspapers spread disinformation about history and all political issues. Censorship in the mainstream media makes Sweden, Finland and Norway a kind of dictatorships, ruled by the political and economic elite.
Corrupt countries of Scandinavia
In Finland, Norway and Sweden nobody can have a public post without being a member of a certain political party. In Finland all high-ranking officials, who earn 5000 euros a month or more, are members of political parties. Source: a local politician from Espoo, Finnish radio, 2011
Usually media does not tell this fact, due to censorship. And high-ranking officials themselves hardly ever tell citizens that they are party members.

In the Scandinavian countries the political and economic elite controls the media. No one can criticize the elite in the mainstream media.
If a municipal employee or official says critical opinion about leading politicians, the elite will punish him or her. Any one who criticizes leading politicians, will lose his or her job. Freedom of speech is very limited in Finland as well as most Nordic countries.

The Social Democratic Party of Finland has created the cult of personality which surrounds Finnish President Tarja Halonen and her predecessor Martti Ahtisaari. The Finnish elite has declared November 16th as the Martti Ahtisaari Day since 2011.
The Finnish government holds back information from their citizens what Martti Ahtisaari is doing against their interest.
